Domain Homes is proud to have sponsored the MacDill Chiefs’ Group 2013 Golf Tournament in late April. Domain Homes also sent a foursome to the tournament, which was played at the Bay Palms golf course located on MacDill Air Force Base.
We were honored to have been involved in the event, which raised tens of thousands of dollars to help local military members in need. Domain Homes has previously partnered with the Chiefs’ Group to provide Christmas trees to military families who wanted them, but could not afford them.
Domain Homes’ Vice President, Tim Terpening, was asked to speak to the golfers and staff at the awards ceremony and auction. In his speech he stated that Domain considers it an honor to have the opportunity to build homes for our military homeowners, but it is even more rewarding to partner with the Chiefs’ Group to serve those who unselfishly serve us all every day.

Over the past two and a half years, Tampa residents have gotten used to seeing Domain Homes’ flags and signs at our construction sites and on our new homes for sale in South Tampa. Now these colorful flags are getting some attention at our new homes in Pinellas County.

Domain Homes and the New Domain Living team are big supporters of our military. Being so close to MacDill Air Force Base, we have helped many military members and their families find the homes of their dreams. There has been big news in the military community in the Tampa Bay area as Marine General James Mattis (left) relinquished command to Army General Lloyd Austin III (center) on Friday, March 22.
The ceremony, held at MacDill Air Force Base, anointed Austin as the new commander of Centcom, which is the headquarters for U.S. military operations in the Middle East. He is taking over as the majority of U.S. forces are slated to leave Afghanistan next year after more than a decade of war and the transitioning of security responsibilities to the Afghan people.
Held under tight security, the ceremony was attended by dignitaries and high-ranking military officials, including Secretary of Defense, Chuck Hagel (right). The new Centcom commander said, “it really is wonderful to be back here in Tampa and be part of this special community”.

On Saturday, March 16th Domain Homes celebrated Saint Patrick’s Day in style at our beautiful South Tampa location where we have completed two gorgeous new homes. Our homeowners, friends and neighbors gathered at 3621 W. Euclid Avenue for a drink and a day of fun in the sun while we celebrated the famous Patron Saint of Ireland!

Domain Homes has been featured in an article by the Wall Street Journal!
The article, titled “Builders Fuel Home Sale Rise,” explains why new home sales are soaring over re-sales. Homebuyers are finding that inventory levels of previously owned homes are “at a 13-year low after investors picked over the long-depressed market.” New homes typically have more to offer and buyers are willing to pay more for a new home than they would for a resale to get exactly what they want.

We are proud to have had a successful cookout last weekend, despite the weather, in our Pinellas Park community. Thanks to our New Home Specialist, Michele Brigandi, the event was a wonderful way to show a gorgeous new home nearing completion and spend some quality time with our new neighbors and homeowners!
It is exciting to be able to share our new homes and show off the exceptional quality we are able to offer new homebuyers. We had several area agents show up in addition to neighbors and buyers who were all eager to walk through our first Pinellas County home. We received incredibly positive feedback on the home and are excited to continue our presence in the Pinellas County market.
